O2 Optix Contact Lenses, Air Optix, Air Optix for Astigmatism, Air Optix Night and Day.

Air Optix Night and Day has also had a name change it used to be called Focus Night and Day.

Air Optix part of the O2 Optix contact lens range is a monthly replacement contact lens, it's the standard lens in the O2 Optix contact lens range, Air Optix is made from a material called silicone hydrogel which allows up to 5 times more oxygen to flow through the contact lenses and into the eyes than other makes of contact lenses, and oxygen is very good for the eyes, they need to breath too, it's that feeling of sore, itchy or tired eyes when wearing contact lenses that tells you your eyes are being starved of oxygen.

Air Optix for Astigmatism is also part of the O2 Optix contacts range, this is a monthly disposable contact lens designed for the correction of the medical eye condition known as Astigmatism where the eye is not quite spherical but more a torid shape, hence the name torics you often see on contact lenses designed for the correction of Astigmatism.

Air Optix for Astigmatism just like other O2 Optix contacts is made from silicone hydrogel to allow more air to reach the eyes preventing sore eyes.

The best O2 Optix contacts lenses are undoubtedly the Air Optix Night and Day lenses which incidentally used to be called Focus Night and Day, although still manufactured by Ciba Vision.

Air Optix Night and Day are continuous wear contact lenses, that's right, just leave these O2 Optix contacts lenses in your eyes night and day for a period of one month (30 days), no hassles inserting and removing contact lenses, and great news if you have trouble inserting and removing your lenses, and definitely no cleaning or messy solutions to buy or learn how to use.

Air Optix Night and Day is truly the insert and forget contact lenses we have all been looking for, and like the other O2 Optix lens it's the silicone hydrogel material which allows oxygen to flow to the eyes which has created a continuous wear contact lens in the first place.
